Miss Sanjay Kumari is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, based at Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals. Miss Kumari graduated in medicine in 1992 and completed her speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology at various teaching hospitals in London, including University College London Hospital. She has also completed advanced training in hysteroscopic surgery and is an accredited colposcopist by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). Miss Kumari is the lead for the colposcopy service at Barnet Hospital.

Miss Kumari's special interests include menstrual disorders, fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pelvic pain, endometriosis, miscarriage, menopause, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), sexual health, and colposcopy/management of abnormal smears.

She offers a variety of procedures, including open and laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, especially hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and removal of polyps. Miss Kumari is also trained in the outpatient removal of polyps using Truclear, which does not require anaesthesia or hospital admission.
