Dr Sarah Panjwani is a highly experienced General and Developmental Paediatrician, currently practising at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and The Portland Hospital. With over 16 years of experience in paediatrics, she specialises in assessing and treating children of all ages. Her areas of expertise include autism, developmental delay, child development, behavioural concerns, disability, ADHD, fussy eating, toileting and constipation, and sleep problems. Dr Panjwani has also established a successful service for children with sleep disorders.
Dr Panjwani graduated from King's College School of Medicine and holds a Masters in Child Health from the University of Warwick, where she graduated with distinction. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Her paediatric training took place in several leading hospitals, including Manchester Children's Hospital and Alder Hey in Liverpool. In addition to her clinical work, she is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College, reflecting her commitment to education and training.
Dr Panjwani has conducted significant research, including stem cell treatments for neurological diseases at Harvard University's Boston Children's Hospital. She was named Young Investigator of the Year for her research on medication use in paediatric Crohn's Disease and Colitis. Her contributions to child health have been widely published and presented at both national and international conferences. In recognition of her outstanding work, she received a Clinical Excellence Award from her NHS Trust.
