Dr Shaishav S. Dhage is currently a Consultant Oncoendocrinologist and Acute Oncologist at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, one of Europe's largest cancer centres and the third largest tertiary endocrine unit in the UK. At The Christie, Dr Dhage leads specialised services for thyroid eye disease and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.

His clinical interests also include thyroid disorders, reproductive endocrinology, andrology, pituitary and adrenal disorders, diabetes mellitus, obesity and immunotherapy-related endocrinopathies. He is a highly accomplished Oncoendocrinologist with extensive expertise in managing complex endocrine disorders in cancer patients.

Dr Dhage is actively involved in clinical trials as a Principal and Sub-Investigator, contributing to advancements in endocrine treatments.

Dr Dhage graduated from Pune University, India, before completing his postgraduate training in General Internal Medicine with the Diplomate of National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He subsequently moved to the UK, where he completed a Royal College Sponsored Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at University Hospital South Manchester in 2013 and further specialised in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and General Internal Medicine across various hospitals in the Northwest of England.

Dr Dhage achieved his MD in Medicine from the University of Manchester, defending a thesis titled The Utility of Corneal Confocal Microscopy in the Detection and Follow-up of Small Fibre Neuropathy in Diabetes and Sexual Dysfunction. During this period, he
actively participated in multi-centre cardiovascular risk prevention trials and
presented his research at national and international conferences.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr Dhage serves on the Clinical Affairs Core Committee (CACC) and the Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU) Committee for the American Society of Endocrinology. He regularly delivers webinars for the American Society of Endocrinology's monthly series, sharing his insights and expertise with healthcare professionals worldwide.
