Dr Shan Low is a highly qualified consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with extensive knowledge in her field. She has vast experience in caring for women from all walks of life. Dr Low's NHS base is Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Trust, where she holds a substantive NHS post.

She obtained her medical degree in 2001 from Queen's University, Belfast, and completed her speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology at various tertiary hospitals in Northern Ireland, Liverpool, and other parts of Northern England. At Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, Dr Low serves as the Obstetrics Guidelines Lead and heads a robust training programme in obstetrics emergencies for the maternity staff. She runs a weekly high-risk antenatal clinic and is well-practised in managing early pregnancy problems through her regular ultrasound clinic. Dr Low is a hands-on obstetrician skilled in managing high-risk deliveries, both vaginally and via complex caesarean sections, as part of her NHS service.

Dr Low also offers private ad hoc consultations at both the Portland Hospital and the Cobham Clinic. Her services include planned caesarean sections, postnatal care, pregnancy packages with bespoke antenatal care, and the surgical management of miscarriage. A member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Low is also dedicated to medical education.
