Dr Samarasekera was - without going ‘over the top' - superb, when I sought a second opinion as to the whys and wherefores of my epilepsy diagnosis. She conveyed her medical opinions in a very clear fashion and was both a great communicator and listener. Despite the seriousness of my situation, she was able to share ‘lighter' moments of humour and understanding. This served to put my wife and myself more at ease. It's still early days in my quest to minimise - or even nullify - the seizures which have cast a shadow over our lives, but I came away from the consultation with a greater understanding and genuine hope that I could be embarking on a pathway to better health. In conclusion, I would give Dr Samarasekera the highest possible recommendation.
