Miss Sharmistha Guha graduated from India in 2000. She began her career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi as a junior resident and moved to London in 2004.

She trained in the Northwest Thames region of London Deanery. She has carried out several multicentred early pregnancy research projects including study in pregnancy of unknown location and have several papers in peer reviewed journals to her credentials.

She is a regular speaker in many national and international forums. Miss Guha is proficient in performing early pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound. She did Post graduate diploma in gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound from King’s College London in 2011.

She took up her substantive consultant post at West Middlesex University Hospital in 2013 and she is the lead for the termination of pregnancy and gynaecology risk management service. She is RCOG preceptor for training in Acute gynaecology and early pregnancy and benign gynaecological surgery.

Miss Guha provides a comprehensive range of gynaecological service including gynaecology ultrasound, early pregnancy care, colposcopy and benign gynaecological surgery.
