Dr Stefano Palmisani is a highly experienced consultant in pain medicine and neuromodulation, specialising in minimally invasive spinal interventions. He offers private consultations at the Wellington and London Bridge Hospital, where he collaborates with patients to develop effective pain management strategies.

Dr Palmisani earned his primary medical qualification at the University of Rome La Sapienza and completed his specialist training in anaesthesia at Sant Andrea University Hospital. He furthered his expertise with higher training at Valencia General Hospital in Spain and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in the UK, gaining extensive knowledge in pain medicine.

In 2011, Dr Palmisani was appointed as a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, joining one of the busiest neuromodulation teams in the UK. He played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the hospital's endoscopic pain interventions service, which includes procedures such as endoscopic rhizolysis, facet joint injections, and sacroiliac joint treatments.

Dr Palmisani is also a key member of a multidisciplinary team that manages patients with complex facial and head conditions, including headaches and facial pains. Additionally, he co-leads the neuromodulation clinic for functional urology, male pelvic pain, and bladder pain.
