Mr Steve Garnett has been working as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in the East Sussex Hospitals Trust since December 2008, and is currently the Lead Clinician for urological cancer. He specialises in general urology and urological cancers. His clinical interests include prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, bladder problems and surgery for kidney diseases. Always at the forefront of the latest innovations in urology, he introduced Greenlight laser prostate surgery & UroLift procedures to East Sussex.
Mr Garnett studied medicine in London at St Bartholomew's Hospital and then he went on to train in urology in Bristol, Edinburgh and Oxford. While in Bristol he conducted research into bladder function. He undertook specialist Laparoscopic training in Germany. He also trained in kidney transplant surgery.
Mr Garnett has published multiple peer-reviewed papers on bladder disorders, prostate cancer and kidney diseases.
