Dr Sudhakar George is a highly experienced consultant cardiologist based at London Bridge Hospital and BMI The Blackheath Hospital. He has been practicing as a consultant since 2003 and is known for his clinical leadership and expertise in all aspects of general cardiology.

He specialises in complex coronary interventions and is an expert in treating chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, and hypertension. His procedural interests include coronary angioplasty, stent implantation, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and optical coherence tomography (OCT), alongside advanced imaging such as cardiac CT.

Dr George has held several senior clinical roles, including clinical lead for cardiology at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and cardiology pathway lead for Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL). His dedication to quality improvement and patient care has been recognised at national level.

He is actively involved in training the next generation of cardiologists and has contributed to the development of innovative pathways for rapid access chest pain clinics and integrated cardiac services. His approach is collaborative, ensuring patients benefit from coordinated care and the latest advances in treatment.

With a particular interest in preventative cardiology, Dr George supports patients in managing long-term cardiovascular risk and promoting heart health through early intervention.
