Dr Sui Wong is a consultant neurologist and neuro-ophthalmologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. She brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her role.
Dr Wong specialises in the treatment and management of neuro-ophthalmology conditions. She set up and leads the specialist service for papilloedema and conditions of raised pressure in the skull, such as idiopathic intracranial hypertension and pseudotumour cerebri syndrome. Additionally, she established and heads the CSF-Extrema working group, which combines expertise across Guy's and St Thomas' and King's Health Partners to address issues related to high or low cerebrospinal fluid pressure and leaks.
Dr Wong also holds a joint appointment at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where she set up and leads the ocular myasthenia specialist service. Her areas of expertise include ocular myasthenia gravis, optic neuritis, optic neuropathies, and visual pathways disorders. She is also proficient in general neurology, treating conditions such as migraine, epilepsy, and movement disorders.
