Dr Robinson is a highly esteemed consultant haematologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where she has been serving since 2010. She qualified at King's College London and completed her specialist training at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Furthering her expertise, Dr Robinson undertook post-graduate research at King's College London, earning an MRes.

Dr Robinson is the lead consultant for patient blood management, focusing on the pre-operative and post-operative correction of anaemia. Her areas of expertise include transfusion medicine, immune thrombocytopenia, and obstetric haematology, covering conditions such as anaemia, thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, antiphospholipid syndrome, and myeloproliferative neoplasms in pregnancy.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Robinson is an active member of the British Society of Haematology and the British Blood Transfusion Society. She chairs the British Society of Haematology Transfusion Task Force and co-chairs the National Blood Transfusion Committee anaemia working group. She is also a writing group member for the NICE Transfusion Guidelines and a specialist committee member for the NICE quality standards for transfusion.

Dr Robinson has made significant contributions to medical literature, with over 30 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and articles to her name. She is a sought-after lecturer, sharing her knowledge throughout the UK and internationally.
