Dr Tarvinder Dhanjal is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Morriston Cardiac Centre and Spire Hospital Cardiff. He qualified with honours from Birmingham University Medical School in 2000 and rotated through various Glasgow and Birmingham teaching hospitals before returning to University in 2003 to undertake research funded by the British Heart Foundation.

He was later awarded a PhD from Birmingham University in 2007. He was also awarded a clinical training and research position at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, where he completed his sub-speciality training in heart rhythm treatment (electrophysiology). Towards the end of his training he was awarded a two year advanced electrophysiology fellowship at the renowned Henri Mondor Hospital in Paris and was appointed as a Consultant in 2014.
