Dr Thomas King is a consultant interventional radiologist based at The Harley Street Clinic and The Wellington Hospital. He specialises in image-guided procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions. His areas of clinical expertise include uterine fibroid embolisation, prostate artery embolisation, and embolisation for gastrointestinal and trauma-related bleeding.

He also performs image-guided tumour ablation, including microwave ablation and cryoablation for kidney and liver tumours. Dr King is highly experienced in performing minimally invasive treatments for varicoceles, venous malformations, and vascular anomalies. He routinely carries out vascular access procedures, biliary interventions, nephrostomy insertions, and drain placements.

Appointed as a consultant in 2015, he works closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred care using the latest imaging technology. He has a particular interest in developing and delivering innovative interventional techniques that improve patient outcomes and reduce recovery times. His approach combines clinical precision with a strong focus on safety and comfort.

He is actively involved in training junior doctors and radiologists in interventional techniques and regularly participates in educational activities and case-based discussions.
