During his years as a Consultant at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Mr Theologis gained experience running a busy practice, heavily based on tertiary referrals.On average he operates on more than 500 children per year and sees more than 3,000 patients in clinic. He receives referrals from a large geographical area covering both elective and emergency paediatric orthopaedic conditions.

More than half of his practice is based on “mainstream” paediatric orthopaedics, including developmental dysplasia of the hip and foot deformity, often treated initially elsewhere. He developed a large neuromuscular practice, mostly involving children with cerebral palsy. In addition, Mr Theologis contributed to the development of a sophisticated gait laboratory, which has now acquired national and international reputation.
