Miss Vickie Lee is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon at Imperial College and London North West Healthcare NHS Trusts. She graduated from Cambridge University and St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School before embarking on her ophthalmological training at the Western Eye Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital, and the highly regarded Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Miss Lee then undertook a sub-specialist training programme in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Miss Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a Founding Member of the British Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Society, and a member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. She is also an international member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society.
Miss Lee has published over 30 scientific papers and is a reviewer for many academic journals. She has lectured and chaired at numerous national and international Oculoplastic and Ophthalmology conferences. She also has extensive experience in teaching, having been involved in postgraduate clinical ophthalmology training. Miss Lee is a Royal College of Ophthalmologists Tutor and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine.
Miss Lee specialises in treating a wide range of conditions, including thyroid eye disease, eyelid lacrimal (tear duct) and socket disease, and eye trauma. She is proficient in various medical tests and treatments such as dermal filler treatment around the eyes, blocked tear duct surgery, orbital surgeries, and the management of dry eye. Her expertise also extends to artificial eyes, ocular trauma, and eye socket issues.
Miss Lee continues to contribute significantly to the field of ophthalmology through her clinical practice, research, and teaching. Her dedication to advancing ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgery ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care.
