Prof. Victor Tsang is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He specialises in adult congenital heart surgery and neonatal cardiac surgery.
Prof. Tsang graduated from Westminster Medical School, University of London. He completed his cardiothoracic surgical training at the Royal Brompton and London Chest Hospitals. He then served as a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute under Prof. Magdi Yacoub. Further training was undertaken with Dr Roger Mee at Melbourne Children's Hospital in Australia. Prof. Tsang began his consultancy career at Southampton University Hospital in 1994 and has been with Great Ormond Street Hospital for over 14 years.
Prof. Tsang has performed surgeries in Scandinavia, Germany, and China/Hong Kong. He has also led charity missions in the Caribbean. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and is one of the three editors of a renowned paediatric cardiac surgical textbook. He is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences.
