Dr Waseem Ashraf is a highly experienced consultant gastroenterologist based in the UK. He specialises in minimally-invasive techniques, particularly endoscopy, and was one of the earliest operators of capsule endoscopy in the world, providing him with extensive expertise in this area.

Dr Ashraf completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre, USA. He took up his consultant post in gastroenterology in the UK in 1995.
