Mr Waseem Saeed is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in rescue cosmetic surgery, for which he has become internationally renowned. He sees private patients at the HCA Wilmslow Hospital and the Harley Street Clinic.

Mr Saeed gained his primary medical qualification in 1987 at the University of Manchester. He then trained at St James University Hospital, Leeds, where he developed expertise in the treatment and management of severe, life-threatening injuries. His training continued in Aberdeen, where he gained knowledge in treating a wide range of injuries in agricultural workers. After completing a final Hand and Microsurgery fellowship in Louisville, Kentucky, Mr Saeed took up his Consultant appointment in 1999 in Leeds.

Since his appointment, Mr Saeed has been made Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at St James's University Hospital. He has also undertaken charity and disaster relief work, specialising in limb salvage surgery after natural disasters in Haiti, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

Following his disaster relief work, Mr Saeed became Faculty at the Global Risk Forum Emergency Surgery Workshops in 2011 and 2013, aiming to improve emergency responses to natural disasters. He later joined the International Committee of the Red Cross to help develop guidelines for limb injuries in natural disasters. Additionally, he teaches plastic surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons for the Austere Environment Course.

Mr Saeed's areas of expertise include rescue cosmetic surgery, hand and microsurgery, and the treatment of severe injuries. His roles and interests extend to teaching, charity work, and developing emergency response protocols for natural disasters.
