Mr Yakubu Karagama is a distinguished ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon and laryngologist, practising at the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle and Manchester University Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary. He completed his higher ENT surgical training in Newcastle, UK, in 2007 and has since been a leading figure in his field. Mr Karagama specialises in general adult and paediatric ENT issues, with a particular focus on professional voice problems, nasal and sinus conditions.

Mr Karagama is the founder and course director of the Manchester Phonosurgery Course and leads the specialist voice clinic at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He holds an MSc in Advanced Voice Research from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, obtained in 2005. His research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences, earning him several accolades.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Karagama is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester and Edge Hill University. He has authored over 50 publications and served as the Secretary of the British Laryngological Association. His expertise extends to various procedures, including tonsillectomy, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasty, and rhinoplasty.
