Miss Yulia Gurtovaya is a highly experienced NHS Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust, West Middlesex University Hospital in London. She qualified from Moscow Medical University in 1990 and completed her postgraduate training in the Oxford deanery, gaining valuable experience at the John Radcliffe, Royal Berkshire, and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals.
Miss Gurtovaya is a certified colposcopist and a member of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). She holds a Diploma in the Family Planning Clinic and is certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in both open and laparoscopic abdominal surgery. Additionally, she has achieved higher certification from the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.
With over 15 years of experience, Miss Gurtovaya specialises in managing general gynaecological problems, including heavy periods, menstrual disorders, early pregnancy issues, pelvic pain, subfertility, menopausal problems, contraception advice, and endometriosis. She is proficient in performing complex laparoscopic and open surgeries, hysteroscopy procedures, and colposcopy for abnormal smears. Her expertise also extends to gynaecological oncology.
