Mr El-Gizawy completed his Specialist Registrar training in the West Midlands Deanery. He received his training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Birmingham Women’s Hospital, as well as completed a postgraduate diploma in advanced gynaecological endoscopy in Surrey University. He specialises in minimally invasive surgery for endometriosis.
Mr El-Gizawy has extensive experience especially in robotic surgery. He treats deep infiltrating endometriosis through minimally invasive robotic surgery, as well as fibroids and ovarian lesions. He is a trainer (proctor) of robotic surgery in both the UK and Europe.
