Aisling is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with Pure Sports Medicine, Canary Wharf. She has a special interest in sports injury prevention and rehabiltation through strength and conditioning based methods and functional movement patterns. Her clinical interests are in sports injuries, lower limb, tendinopathy, lower back pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, patellofemoral pain (PFP) and scoliosis management. She is skilled in dry needling, pilates teaching and management of sports injuries for the weekend warrior to semiprofessional athletes.
Aisling is a Physiotherapy graduate from Trinity College Dublin. She has completed post graduate study in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Sports Massage, Dry Needling, IFRU safe Rugby Training, Concussion Management and Strength and Conditioning. She has earlier worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for Trinity College Senior Hurlers and with various Rugby teams in Trinity College. She was part of a Specialist Pain Management Clinic with Dr Oleg Illyinski in the Beacon Hospital. As part of her work in the Rehab Rooms, she conducted classes on improving functional strength, mobility and balance for people in their later stages of life.
Aisling is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapy. She is a keen Gaelic football player who hopes to complete her first half marathon soon.
