Dr Alastair Noyce is a distinguished reader in neurology and neuroepidemiology at the Centre for Preventive, Detection and Diagnosis (CPDD), part of the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). He has been a pivotal figure in the field since his appointment in 2017, leading the Parkinson’s programme of work.

Dr Noyce graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (QMUL) in 2007. He then pursued integrated training through the Foundation Academic Programme and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship at University College London (UCL). His academic journey continued with a PhD in neuroscience at UCL and an MSc in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
