Dr Angad Dhillon is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist based at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London. He obtained his medical degree from Imperial College London and completed his postgraduate training in hospitals across London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.

Dr Dhillon underwent a three-year advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Mark’s Hospital, where he received specialist training in advanced endoscopic techniques for the safe and effective removal of gastrointestinal polyps. He has also conducted extensive research in the diagnosis and treatment of precancer and early cancer in the bowel, and has published widely in the fields of endoscopy and inflammatory bowel disease.

As a National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme accredited endoscopist, Dr Dhillon performs regular screening colonoscopy lists at the University Hospital Lewisham, the bowel cancer screening hub for South East London. He leads the complex polypectomy and capsule endoscopy service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His specialist interests include the diagnosis and management of diseases and disorders affecting the oesophagus, stomach, small and large bowel, and liver.

Dr Dhillon prioritises the highest quality and comfortable day-case gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures for both diagnosis and therapy. He offers a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring that the wider impact of a patient’s symptoms on their life is addressed. He also ensures that his patients are fully involved in the subsequent therapeutic decision-making process.
