About Dr Angela Swampillai
Dr Angela Swampillai is a Consultant Oncologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where she has worked as a consultant since 2016. She specialises in the treatment of breast cancer and brain cancer.
Her clinical practice includes systemic cancer therapies and radiotherapy. She works closely with the hereditary breast and ovarian cancer team.
Dr Swampillai is the primary oncologist delivering treatment within the nationally commissioned Neurofibromatosis Centre. Her work includes systemic therapy for patients with neurofibromatosis types 1 and 2.
She also works with the specialist Von Hippel-Lindau service and treats patients with central nervous system-related haemangioblastoma.
