    Miss Bridget De Cruze is a highly esteemed consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology, specialising in gynaecological oncology. She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1994 and completed her specialist training in 2005. Miss De Cruze further honed her expertise by acquiring sub-specialist accreditation in gynaecological oncology in 2009.

    From 2011 to 2020, Miss De Cruze served as a consultant gynaecological surgeon and oncologist at Liverpool Women's NHS Trust Cancer Centre. In 2020, she joined the gynaecological surgical team at The Christie, where she continues to provide exceptional care. She also holds the role of Lead Colposcopist at Liverpool Women's NHS Trust, managing both simple and complex colposcopy cases.

    Miss De Cruze's areas of interest include the development of cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC (heated intra-peritoneal chemotherapy) for ovarian, tubal, and peritoneal cancer, as well as robotic surgery for endometrial cancer. She is also focused on the detection of sentinel nodes for endometrial and vulval cancer.

    As an active member of the Specialist Multidisciplinary Team at The Christie, Miss De Cruze is dedicated to providing evidence-based medical care. She performs a range of diagnostic procedures, including colposcopy, cervical biopsy, cone biopsy, and hysteroscopy. Her surgical expertise encompasses open and robotic hysterectomy, pelvic node dissection, vulval excisions, and cytoreductive surgery.
