Dr Wareing graduated from the University of Dundee Medical School in 2009. He also gained a BSc Hons in Sports Science in Relation to Medicine at the University of Leeds during his medical training. After graduating he returned to his roots in North West England and is a GP Partner in Longridge, just outside Preston. Christian is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, gaining his MRCGP in 2014. He combined working as a GP in an Accident and Emergency department with General Practice for a year before becoming a full-time GP partner.

Dr Wareing has a keen interest in sports medicine and will complete a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine in January 2019. He has been a club doctor in professional sport for the last 3 years, initially in ice hockey and then in football for the last 2 years. Currently Christian works with Fylde AFC in the National League.

Dr Wareing lives with his wife and Hungarian Vizsla dog, Loki in Whalley in the Ribble Valley. Having previously played ice hockey and football at a high standard he still enjoys playing and coaching recreational ice hockey and is a keen watcher of all sports.
