Dr Christopher Carswell is a consultant neurologist working at HCA, Charing Cross, and Chelsea & Westminster hospitals. He has an interest in all neurological problems, including headaches, limb weakness/numbness, dizziness, strokes, and epilepsy. He has a specialist interest in normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) and memory problems, and he runs the Imperial College London NPH clinic.
Dr Carswell completed his clinical neurology training in central London and Sydney, where he was the Association of British Neurologists Australasian Fellow. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London, and was awarded a PhD in neuroscience by University College London.
He has published many clinical papers, textbook chapters, and medical journal articles. Additionally, he is a clinical lecturer at Imperial College London, where he conducts active research in NPH.
Dr Carswell is passionate about listening carefully to his patients' concerns, providing an accurate diagnosis, and creating a tailored management plan to ensure the best quality of care.
Dr Carswell has been dedicated to his field since his appointment and continues to contribute significantly to both clinical practice and medical research.
