Dr Daniel Smith is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He specialises in the treatment of thoracic and breast cancers, including lung cancer, breast cancer, mesothelioma, and thymic tumours. Dr Smith is highly skilled in administering chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and he also provides immediate post-operative radiotherapy for benign conditions such as heterotopic ossification (HO) and pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS).

Dr Smith has a particular focus on high precision radiotherapy techniques. These include 3D and 4D conformal image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR).
