Dr Dayo Ajayi-Obe is a senior consultant general paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric infectious diseases. She has been an NHS consultant paediatrician at the Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2003. Dr Ajayi-Obe also holds private practising privileges at several prestigious institutions, including Harley Street Children's Hospital and HCA Chiswick Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre in London.

Dr Ajayi-Obe completed her MBBS at the University of Ibadan in 1984 and holds an MSc in Epidemiology from Harvard University, obtained in 1998. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Her research interests focus on paediatric RSV, influenza respiratory infections, and paediatric tuberculosis.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Ajayi-Obe has a keen interest in travel medicine and tropical diseases, stemming from her dissertation on cerebral malaria. She offers a range of services, including primary childhood vaccinations, travel medicine vaccinations, skin prick allergy testing, and Mantoux tests. She also provides video consultations, making her accessible to patients from the comfort of their homes.

Dr Ajayi-Obe treats a variety of conditions such as ear infections, tonsillitis, asthma, bronchiolitis, and eczema. She is dedicated to improving child health and has spearheaded initiatives like the first Imperial College London CPD Paediatric Course in Lagos, Nigeria.
