About Dr Fiona Tsang-Wright
GMC number: 4549831
Year qualified: 1998
Place of primary qualification: University of London
Dr Fiona Tsang-Wright is a fully licensed consultant breast and reconstructive surgeon with an NHS practice at Wycombe Hospital and private clinics at Chiswick Medical Centre in London and BMI Chiltern in Buckinghamshire. She serves as the Cancer Clinical Lead at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, overseeing all cancer-related services and collaborating closely with regional hospitals.
Dr Tsang-Wright completed her medical degree and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology with Biomedical Sciences at King's College London, followed by postgraduate surgical training in North West London. She gained comprehensive experience in breast surgery and reconstruction at leading London institutions, including The Royal Marsden Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, and St Bartholomew's Hospital. In 2018, she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has been on the General Medical Council's specialist register for general surgery since 2019.
In her practice, Dr Tsang-Wright conducts One-Stop clinics, allowing patients to receive consultations and necessary imaging—such as ultrasound scans, mammograms, or biopsies—in a single visit. This approach enhances patient experience by reducing the number of appointments and associated anxiety. She specialises in breast cancer treatment, employing oncoplastic remodelling techniques and reconstructive procedures tailored to each patient. Her interests include risk-reducing surgeries, breast cancer in younger women, and benign breast conditions like breast pain and cysts. She is also qualified to treat patients of all ages, including children.
Dr Tsang-Wright is committed to integrating advanced technology into her practice. In 2021, she introduced the use of Magseed technology for localising impalpable cancers and implemented digital consent processes. Beyond her clinical duties, she actively raises awareness about breast cancer and fundraises for charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support and Prevent Breast Cancer. Her professional affiliations include the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal Society of Medicine, the Association of Breast Surgery (UK), the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
Born and raised in London, Dr Tsang-Wright resides in West London with her husband, three children, and their beloved dog. She has international healthcare experience, having worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates. She is also dedicated to medical education and mentoring surgical trainees.
