    Dr Mikhail is an esteemed Interventional Cardiology Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, and an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. Dr Mikhail also practices privately at The Harley Street Clinic.

    Since joining Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2008, Dr Mikhail has been the Cardiac Catheter Lab lead and established the TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) programme. Dr Mikhail is also the Director of the annual Imperial Valve and Cardiovascular Meeting (IVCC meeting).

    In addition to clinical duties, Dr Mikhail is actively involved in academic research, with numerous publications and presentations at national and international cardiology conferences.

Dr Mikhail performs coronary angiography and angioplasty, and has been performing the TAVI procedure since 2008. Dr Mikhail has a special interest in cardiovascular disease in women.
