    Frequently asked questions

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

I typically see patients who have experienced injuries of the Lower body. This ranges from the lower back, hip, knee and the foot and ankle and can be a result of trauma, or something that has developed gradually. I also see a lot of running injuries that are either acute or persistent, which is usually a result of overtraining, muscular weakness/imbalance, joint restriction or gait mechanics.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

I predominantly offer an educational and exercise approach as the majority of evidence suggests this is the best form of treatment for long term results. However in conjunction with these I also offer manual therapy and acupuncture to optimise recovery and reduce pain. I also have a keen interest in strength and conditioning and will offer patients progressive exercise plans for pre and post lower limb surgery.

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

I have a special interest in all mechanical lower limb injuries that are either a result of trauma, or have gradually progressed overtime. I also have a special interest in running injuries and mechanics.
