Dr Imran Petkar is a highly experienced and qualified oncologist who consults at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He also serves as a senior lecturer at King's College London. Dr Petkar specialises in the treatment of head and neck cancers, as well as colorectal cancers.

Dr Petkar undertook a two-year clinical research fellowship with the head and neck unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research between 2015 and 2017. During this fellowship, he investigated advanced radiotherapy techniques, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), to reduce treatment-related toxicities and improve patients' quality of life.
