Dr Jan Hoong Ho is a Consultant Endocrinologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He is the clinical lead for endocrinology at the trust and his clinical practice includes management of a wide range of endocrine disorders including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gonadal and metabolic bone disorders. Being in a large cancer centre, he is also experienced in the management of endocrine complications of cancer treatment.

Dr Ho graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009, and underwent postgraduate training in diabetes and endocrinology in the North West of England. During this time, he completed a PhD in novel cardiovascular risk markers in endocrine and metabolic conditions. His research has led to a number of publications, international presentations and awards. Dr Ho continues to maintain a clinical research portfolio in endocrinology.

Dr Ho is the clinical convenor of the Society for Endocrinology Thyroid Network, and is also a member of the Society for Endocrinology BES programme organising committee. Dr Ho is an editorial board member of Endocrine-related Cancer, after completing his role as an Early Career editor.
