Miss Jemma Johns is a Consultant Gynaecologist at King's College NHS Foundation Trust, with additional private consultations available at The London Bridge Hospital. She is a general gynaecologist with a special focus on early pregnancy problems, gynaecology ultrasound, and scanning.

Miss Johns has extensive expertise in managing early pregnancy issues, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, fibroids, miscarriage, and well woman screening. She is also proficient in obstetrics, recurrent miscarriage care, and both 2D and 3D ultrasound procedures. Her skills extend to early pregnancy scans, one-stop gynaecology services, outpatient hysteroscopy, contraception, menopause, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Miss Johns qualified with honours in Surgery from University College, London, in 1984. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at North East Thames Deanery. After five years in the specialty, she became a Clinical Research Fellow at University College Hospital, where she earned an MD with a thesis on ‘Threatened Miscarriage and Obstetric Outcomes.’

In 2008, Miss Johns entered the specialist register and was appointed as a Consultant in the Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology Assessment Unit at King's College Hospital. She also serves as the lead clinician for paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and obstetric haematology, running an antenatal clinic in collaboration with the haematology team.

Miss Johns is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her clinical interests include chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, irregular and heavy periods, miscarriage, pregnancy, and maternal and fetal medicine.
