Dr Bell is a highly esteemed Consultant Interventional Radiologist based at The Christie Foundation NHS Trust. He graduated from St Andrews and Manchester Universities, where he trained in surgery and clinical radiology. Dr Bell further honed his expertise by completing higher sub-specialty training in interventional radiology and was awarded the prestigious European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR).
Dr Bell is internationally recognised for his expertise in liver-directed therapies. His areas of specialisation include intra-arterial liver-directed therapies, selective internal radiotherapy, and prostate MR. He is also proficient in interventional oncology, covering both vascular and non-vascular procedures, as well as hepatobiliary and uroradiology.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Bell plays a significant role in medical education and patient safety. He serves as the Training Programme Director for Radiology in the North West Deanery and is the Chair of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) Patient Safety and Quality Committee.
