Mr Jonathan Wild is a Consultant Colorectal and Peritoneal Surgeon, specialising in general surgery, colorectal surgery, and peritoneal oncology. He is a key member of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust's Complex Pelvic Oncology and Peritoneal Tumour Service MDTs. Additionally, Mr Wild practices at HCA Christie Private Care and HCA Wilmslow. He currently serves as the Lead for Endoscopy at The Christie and the Training Lead for the Colorectal and Peritoneal Oncology Centre.

Jonathan qualified as a doctor in 2004 from Sheffield Medical School. He completed both core and higher surgical training through the Yorkshire School of Surgery. During his training, he also achieved a PhD and a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics. With a keen interest in surgical training and education, he was the first diplomate to be awarded Membership to the Faculty of Surgical Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. After completing his specialist training, he gained further experience with Fellowships in advanced laparoscopic colorectal surgery and advanced pelvic oncology and peritoneal surface malignancy in Leeds and Dublin, as well as a travelling fellowship to Australasia.

Mr Wild has a strong background in both clinical outcomes and laboratory-based biomedical research. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and has ongoing research interests in appendiceal and colorectal tumours. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Edgehill University.

Mr Wild's extensive training and experience make him a leading expert in his field, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients.
