Prof. Valle is a distinguished medical oncologist based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. As the lead clinician of The Christie's neuroendocrine tumour service, Prof. Valle has played a crucial role in the service being awarded the European Centre of Excellence status in March 2011.
