Mrs Katy Clifford is a Consultant Gynaecologist at St Mary's Hospital, with additional private practice at The Lister Hospital. She qualified from Cambridge University and Westminster in 1985, followed by extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Queen Charlotte's, King's College, and St Mary's Hospitals in London. In 1990, she was awarded the Gold Medal in the MRCOG examination and later completed an MD with a thesis on the endocrinology of early pregnancy loss.

Appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Mary's in 2000, Mrs Clifford has since been dedicated to both inpatient and outpatient care. She runs an outpatient hysteroscopy service, focusing on menstrual disorders and abnormal bleeding. Her areas of expertise include general gynaecology, menopause, menstrual irregularities, antenatal care, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Mrs Clifford is also passionate about medical education. She trains post-graduates and assesses junior doctors at Imperial College, London, and within the NW Thames region. Her commitment to education ensures the next generation of doctors are well-prepared for their careers.

In her clinical practice, Mrs Clifford performs a range of procedures and treatments, including hysteroscopy, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and well woman checks. She is highly regarded for her comprehensive approach to women's health, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care.
