Cheryl Lobo is an experienced Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon caring for patients with breast disease since 2007. She runs comprehensive one-stop breast clinics for rapid diagnosis, where imaging and biopsies (if needed) are performed during the initial consultation, with same-day results.
She specialises in the management of all aspects of breast disease with the emphasis on survivorship and the needs of modern women. She believes in providing personalised care and clinical excellence in an efficient and approachable manner. As an oncoplastic surgeon, Miss Lobo combines the latest plastic surgery techniques with advanced breast cancer surgery to deliver optimal cancer treatment alongside excellent cosmetic results. She works with her dedicated multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, radiologists and oncologists to deliver the highest standard of care.

Miss Lobo is passionate about optimising breast health. She advises on strategies to reduce cancer risk including personalised risk-based screening and safe use of HRT. She is regularly invited to speak at longevity, menopause and women’s heath events, and is actively involved in breast health education initiatives in schools.
In her leadership roles, Miss Lobo established the breast sarcoma centre for the London Sarcoma Service (Europe’s largest sarcoma service) and co-founded the charity Phyllodes UK. She also served as Co-Chair of the Proton Beam Therapy and Cancer Development Board at University College London Hospital.
An Imperial College London graduate with honours, Miss Lobo trained at the Royal Marsden. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and member of the Association of Breast Surgeons. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally and internationally. Outside medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, art history and architectural design.
