Dr Magnus Lynch MA(Cantab) DPhil(Oxon) MRCS MRCP(Derm) is a distinguished Consultant Dermatologist, Mohs Surgeon, and Laser Surgeon based in London. He is affiliated with the renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. Dr Lynch is highly experienced in all aspects of adult dermatology, with particular expertise in skin surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.

Dr Lynch's academic journey began at Christ's College, Cambridge, where he graduated in medicine in 2003. He subsequently passed membership examinations for both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons. He trained under leading dermatologists at St John's Institute of Dermatology, gaining entry to the GMC specialist register in Dermatology in 2017. Following his dermatology training, he completed a highly competitive fellowship in Mohs surgery and advanced dermatological surgery at St John's, where he now serves as a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Lynch has a robust academic background. He completed a PhD at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, and was awarded an Academic Clinical Lectureship at St John's Institute of Dermatology. His postdoctoral research at King's College London has led to multiple high-impact publications and earned him the Hugh Wallace Prize from the Dermatology section of the Royal Society of Medicine. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at King's College London, where he leads a research team investigating the cellular biology of the skin and the role of artificial intelligence in dermatology.

Dr Lynch's areas of expertise include Mohs surgery, skin cancer surgery, laser surgery, pulsed dye laser, mole removal, scar revision, and keloid removal. He is proficient in treating a wide range of conditions such as skin cancer, rashes, rosacea, pigmentation issues, acne, cysts, viral warts, scars, keloids, hair loss, and eczema.

Appointed as a consultant in 2017, Dr Lynch continues to contribute significantly to both clinical practice and academic research, making him a leading figure in the field of dermatology.
