Dr Martin Gray is a consultant paediatrician at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as the clinical lead for paediatric critical care and divisional information officer for emergency and integrated care. He is also a paediatric intensivist at The Harley Street Clinic.

Dr Gray's extensive training and experience span several prestigious institutions, including the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and McMaster University in Canada, Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, Australia. He has been a consultant since 2005 and has held positions at McMaster University and St George’s Hospital, in addition to his current roles at Chelsea and Westminster and The Harley Street Clinic.

With a wealth of experience in children's critical care globally, Dr Gray has developed significant expertise, particularly in managing children with cancer or neurological conditions requiring intensive care. He is dedicated to providing care for critically ill babies and children, having worked for over ten years as part of the Paediatric Intensivist Group, which offers a paediatric critical care service to The Harley Street Clinic, part of HCA International.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Gray is a clinical informaticist at Chelsea and Westminster. He has also led digital transformation initiatives at St George’s Hospital and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics. His work in clinical informatics is part of a broader effort to understand healthy child development and his interest in paediatric preventative healthcare. To this end, he co-founded The Bright Futures Clinic, which aims to shift child healthcare from reactive treatment to preventative screening and surveillance therapy.

Dr Gray is also a popular speaker and lecturer, sharing his knowledge and expertise with a wide audience.
