Mr Mohamed Abdelhamid is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based in London. He specialises in the management of varicose veins, thread and spider veins, peripheral arterial disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, leg ulcers, and lymphoedema.

Mr Abdelhamid is affiliated with St George's University Hospitals NHS Trust, where he serves as a principal vascular surgeon. He is also an Honorary Consultant at Epsom and St Helier's University Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition to his NHS roles, he runs private clinics at The Harley Street Clinic, The Lister Hospital, The New Malden Diagnostic Centre, and St Anthony’s Hospital.

After graduating with Honours from Cairo University Medical School in 1998, Mr Abdelhamid completed a research and MSc degree in 2002. He then undertook a surgical residency training programme at Cairo University Hospital in 2003. His higher surgical training began in Cairo before he moved to the UK, where he conducted research at the University of Birmingham and trained in General and Vascular Surgery in London. During this period, he worked at prestigious institutions including St Thomas' Hospital, King's College Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, and Kent & Canterbury Hospital. He further honed his expertise with a two-year Endovascular Fellowship in Australia before being appointed as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at St George’s University Hospital in 2017.

In addition to his clinical duties, Mr Abdelhamid is actively involved in research. He has published extensively in high-impact vascular surgery journals and has contributed a chapter to a textbook.

Mr Abdelhamid is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients, utilising the latest techniques and treatments in vascular and endovascular surgery.
