Dr Omar Al-Salihi is a distinguished Neuro-oncologist and Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital. He specialises in the neuro-oncology of high-grade and low-grade gliomas and the use of radiotherapy for treating soft tissue sarcomas. Dr Al-Salihi has a wealth of experience, having served as a Principal Investigator and core member of the adult brain tumours MDT at Southampton from 2008 to 2018.

Dr Al-Salihi's areas of expertise include radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and the treatment of high-grade and low-grade gliomas. He is also proficient in radiotherapy for soft tissue sarcomas. His clinical interests extend to adult neuro-oncology, with a focus on bone, brain/CNS, and soft tissue conditions.

Appointed in 2006, Dr Al-Salihi has been instrumental in advancing neuro-oncological care. He holds a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of London (1994), an MBBS from the same institution (1997), and has earned his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians UK (2000) and FRCR from the Royal College of Radiologists (2004).
