Dr Panos Kottaridis is a Consultant Haematologist specialising in leukaemia and bone marrow transplantation at University College London Hospitals NHS. He was appointed to this role in 2000 and has since become a leading figure in his field.

Dr Kottaridis's main academic and clinical interests include the prognostication of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), bone marrow transplantation, and the late effects of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. He is also deeply involved in research on fertility in recipients of chemotherapy and the immunotherapy of haematological malignancies, including the use of monoclonal antibodies and CAR-T cells.

As a member of the National Cancer Research Network's working party for AML, Dr Kottaridis has made significant contributions to the field.
