    Ms Eleni Mavrides holds a substantive NHS post at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She trained as an undergraduate at Guys and St Thomas Hospitals Medical School, London, qualifying in 1997.

    She completed her training in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Georges Hospital Medical school and Queen Charlottes and Hammersmith Hospitals, gaining widespread experience in all aspects of the specialties including ultrasound. During the period of 1999-2001, she completed two years of research in obstetric ultrasound at St Georges Hospital University and in 2004 she gained a Doctorate of Medicine of the University of London and the Advanced Diploma in Obstetric Ultrasound from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

    Ms Mavrides has achieved multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and she completed a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (keyhole surgery) at St Marys, Watford General and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, and has thus gained extensive surgical experience in oncology, infertility, menstrual disorders and fibroids.
