Mr Paul Roblin is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over two decades of experience. He specialises in facial surgery, skin surgery, reconstructive surgery, body contouring, breast surgery, and non-surgical treatments. Mr Roblin consults at 40 Harley Street, the London Bridge Hospital, and the New Victoria Hospital in Surrey.
Mr Roblin qualified as a doctor at St George's Hospital Medical School in 1990. He completed his general surgical training through the Pan Thames Regional Specialist Programme and received specialist training in cosmetic surgery from nationally renowned cosmetic surgeons across the UK. His passion for reconstructive microsurgery for breast, skin, head, and neck cancers led him to gain a fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Texas. This fellowship spurred his special interest in breast reconstruction, allowing him to offer a range of cosmetic procedures such as latissimus dorsi flap and autologous free flap surgery, mastopexy, breast reduction, fat transfer, augmentation, nipple reconstruction, and liposuction.
Mr Roblin holds numerous prestigious memberships, including the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He is also well accomplished in the research community, having authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters.
Mr Roblin's areas of expertise include abdominoplasty, arm reduction (brachioplasty), augmentation mastopexy, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, body contouring, body lift (circumferential abdominoplasty), facial surgery, inverted nipple correction, lymphatic bypass surgery (lymphovenous anastomosis), lymph node transfer, lipidemia, liposuction, scar revision, surgery for gynaecomastia (breast development in men), thigh lift, wound management, and skin cancer. He is proficient in both delayed and immediate breast reconstruction, including implant salvage and prophylactic procedures for genetic conditions such as the BRCA gene.
