Mr Pavol Surda is a Consultant ENT and Rhinology Surgeon based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and London Bridge Hospital. He specialises in the management of sleep-disordered breathing, nasal deformities, advanced sinus surgery, and skull base surgery.
Mr Surda has considerable experience in international health clinics, having undertaken postgraduate training in ENT surgery in the UK, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. He completed a year-long fellowship in rhinology and facial plastics at St George’s University Hospital, London, and a further fellowship in anterior skull base surgery at the Academic Medical Centre University Hospital in Amsterdam.
Mr Surda is a co-author of SurgTech, a platform offering crowdsourced surgical training videos. He is a regular faculty member on various instructional courses and has presented at multiple international conferences. Additionally, he sits on the executive board of the European Rhinologic Society and has written or co-authored 34 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 5 book chapters.
Mr Surda has been awarded several academic prizes for his research, including the European Rhinologic Society travel grant and the Ilorin Award of Excellence.
In his practice, Mr Surda is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for his patients, utilising his extensive expertise in ENT and rhinology to treat a wide range of conditions.
