Dr Rapti Mediwake is a consultant rheumatologist and general physician. Her NHS base is at the Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust, where she serves as the consultant lead of the Medical Day Treatment Unit. Dr Mediwake also sees patients privately at The Wellington Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre and Spire Diagnostic Centre in Elstree.

Dr Mediwake treats a wide range of rheumatology conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disorders, osteoarthritis, soft tissue rheumatology, and post-menopausal joint problems. She has undergone specialist training in pain management, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care to her patients.

She qualified from Southampton University in 1993 and subsequently trained in general medicine and rheumatology at Middlesex, Royal London, and Royal Free Hospitals. Additionally, she conducted research at the Brompton Hospital, focusing on sarcoidosis and rheumatological-related lung conditions.

Dr Mediwake is actively involved in junior doctor postgraduate education and currently holds the positions of Consultant Staff Committee Chair at Barnet and Foundation Training Programme Director. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the British Society of Rheumatology.
